I was wondering if it made any sense to use leveraged ETFs and I added a link to a testfol portfolio for the traditional Golden Ratio as well as a leveraged SPY ETF portfolio vs a slightly more aggressive portfolio with higher SCV percentage and no leverage and the difference in return isn't too striking but the max drawdown was considerably less. Do you think it would help you hold a portfolio more easily with lest drawdown and a lower ulcer index. I'm definitely leaning toward using a portfolio more like this for decumulation. In fact it looks like using STRIPs bonds is more important that using the leveraged stock ETFs in the portfolio evals I linked to.
